Sooo... I got a new camera. It's the Nikon D80 with 2 lenses and I also got 2 4GB memory cards for it. They should be delivered on Thursday or Friday.

I'm considering taking one of my film cameras as a back up. But I'm not sure if 1) I will use it, 2) I want to risk damage thereto, and 3) which one to take, a) my workhorse Nikon F100 which is heavy and expensive, but it is my baby, or b) my cheep and light, but useful Nikon N55 which is the camera that got me started in film photography to begin with. Needless to say, the N55 would be less of a loss, but it is somewhat limited and I would be upset it it got broken.
Anyway, I don't have that many more items to get. The only major thing is a backpack that can cary both my camera(s) and my laptop. There are some good Tamrak ones on ebay for about $100. I need to make a list...
I'm about to be soooooo poor. :-( Well, poorer, anyway.
